One bad swim drill changed everything
From 230 lbs and stuck — to 70 lbs of fat lost, 35 lbs of lean muscle gained, and a system that now helps thousands do the same.
How the system was built
Stuck, out of shape, and done with it
Stuck in a lousy relationship, working for the weekends in a small town, I woke up one day and decided I'd had enough. I packed my bags and headed to Jacksonville, Florida, for commercial diving school. Day one started with 5 a.m. workouts — and the swimming drills hit me hard. That was the wake-up call.
Four months that changed the trajectory
Daily gym sessions, a cleaned-up diet, and a two-mile run before every workout. The four-month program was brutal, but I dropped from 230 lbs to 165 lbs. After graduation I landed a job inspecting nuclear plants — diving underneath reactors — and stuck to the routine even after long shifts.
Too skinny — so I built it back lean
Three years of travel later (and meeting my future wife on a plane ride home for Christmas), I'd dropped to 155 lbs — too skinny. So I rebuilt: 35 lbs of lean muscle, this time with a real understanding of macros, training, and food that actually tastes good.
Cooking became the mission
During the rebuild I discovered a love for cooking food that's good for you and tastes amazing. I'd cook for my wife, she'd love it, and I realized how much I enjoy helping people. Hunt4Shredz exists to show you that healthy, delicious cooking at home is simple — and that the key to eating well is just being ready. Say goodbye to last-minute takeout decisions.
Master your nutrition. Master your life.
